Production Method
Vieille Gueuze, Vieille Gueuze-Lambic, Vieux Lambic TSG are all blends of Lambic beers the oldest of which will have been aged for at least three years in wooden barrels. Vieille Gueuze differs by the fact that the average age of the Lambic beers in the blend has to be at least one year. Another distinction between a Gueuze and a Vieille Gueuze is that Vieille Gueuze is fermented twice and is matured on its own dregs.
Appearance and Flavour
Vieille Gueuze, Vieille Gueuze-Lambic, Vieux Lambic TSG beers have a very distinctive aroma and flavour; they are very fizzy and the flavour is quite tart.
History
