Description of product typologies
Torgiano Rosso Riserva PDO is bright ruby red; the nose reveals fruity fragrances of prune and black cherry, entwined with balsamic hints of hazelnut and leather; it is dry and harmonious on the palate, with good structure. Grapes destined for the vinification of Torgiano Rosso Riserva PDO wines must ensure a minimum natural alcohol level of 12% vol. Torgiano Rosso Riserva Protected Designation of Origin wines must be aged for a minimum period of 36 months, of which at least 12 months must be in the bottle; the ageing period commences November 1st of the year in which the grapes were produced.
