Semi-Sparkling, Spumante), Chardonnay (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Spumante), Incrocio Manzoni (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Spumante), Moscato Giallo (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Passito), Pinot Grigio (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Spumante), pure or with the addition of similarly-coloured grapes originating from other grape varieties suitable for cultivation in the concerned area, max. 15%. From red grape varieties: min. 85% Schiava (incl. Semi-Sparkling), Merlot (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Novello), Cabernet Sauvignon (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Novello), Franconia (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Novello), Incrocio Terzi (incl. Semi-Sparkling, Novello), Marzemino (incl. Semi-Sparkling), pure or with the addition of similarly-coloured grapes originating from other grape varieties suitable for cultivation in the concerned area, max. 15%. Terre del Colleoni PDO or Colleoni PDO wines with specification of a white grape variety range from soft to intense straw-yellow, with delicate greenish hues; the nose bursts with embracing fruity and floral hints, among which intense notes of exotic fruit, apple and lily of the valley; they are fresh on the palate, with a structure that balances the bone-dry, dry taste and good acidity to perfection. Spumante wines tend to be straw-yellow, varying in intensity; the characteristic fruity notes of the grapes on the nose blend pleasantly with traces of yeast; the fruitiness on the palate is balanced with a good degree of freshness and accentuated by a dense, consistent perlage. Terre del Colleoni PDO or Colleoni PDO Moscato Giallo Passito is straw-yellow to golden yellow; the nose is embracing, rich with balsamic sensations and persistent hints of honey, almond and dried fruit; the notes of the nose evolve into a velvety, full-bodied flavour, with aromas of sweet syrup and honey and a faint hint of saffron in the finish. Terre del Colleoni PDO or Colleoni PDO wines with specification of a red grape variety are ruby red with hues of varying intensity; the nose reveals an ample bouquet that blends harmoniously with fruity fragrances such as cherry, black cherry and wild violet; the sensations on the palate are varied and fascinating, offering fruity aromas and dry, harmonious flavours. Terre del Colleoni PDO or Colleoni PDO Novello is ruby red, varying in intensity; the nose reveals hints of red fruit, raspberry and woodland strawberry, which blend with the freshness of the bouquet and the minerality of the aromas; the attack on the palate is harmonious, fresh and lively. Before being released for consumption, wine destined for the production of Terre del Colleoni PDO or Colleoni PDO Spumante Metodo Classico must have remained on the lees for at least 15 months; for Millesimato (Vintage) wines the minimum period is 24 months. This period commences from the bottling date and in any case not before January 1st of the year following that of the grape harvest.
