Description of product typologies
Sillaro PGI or Bianco del Sillaro PGI Bianco is straw-yellow; the nose is intense and ample, with generally fruity fragrances, offering hints of white peach, green apple, Williams pear, and floral hints of yellow daisies and broom; it is warm, embracing and fairly smooth on the palate, with a sweet to dry flavour, supported by pleasant freshness and offering good structure and extremely long persistence. Sillaro PGI or Bianco del Sillaro PGI Novello wine is straw-yellow; the nose is moderately intense and fruity, with hints of apricot and exotic fruit; it is sapid and pleasantly smooth on the palate. Sillaro PGI or Bianco del Sillaro PGI wines can be produced as semi-sparkling wine on the condition that they are not obtained through artificial gasification.
