Description of product typologies
Rosso di Montepulciano PDO varies from ruby red to crimson; the nose displays evident notes of pansy, blackberry and spices; it is rounded and pleasantly smooth on the palate, with velvety tannins and a melody of fruity sensations in the finish. Rosso di Montepulciano PDO wines cannot be released for consumption before March 1st of year following that in which the grapes were produced. The vinification processes must be carried out within the administrative territory of Montepulciano.
