Description of product typologies
Nuragus di Cagliari PDO is straw-yellow, varying in intensity; the nose offers a light, pleasant bouquet, with fragrances of green apple and hawthorn and delicate citrusy notes; it is smooth, pleasantly fresh and light-bodied on the palate, with the same fruity notes of the nose highlighted by the acidity. It can also be produced as a semi-sparkling wine. Grapes destined for the vinification of Nuragus di Cagliari Protected Designation of Origin wines must ensure a minimum natural alcohol level of 10% vol. for Nuragus di Cagliari PDO wines and 9% vol. for Nuragus di Cagliari PDO semi-sparkling wines.
