Description of product typologies
Coste della Sesia PDO Bianco is distinguished by its straw-yellow colour; the nose bursts with dense fragrances of hawthorn, sage and wild grass; it is sapid and fresh on the palate, with delicate mineral notes. Coste della Sesia PDO Rosso is ruby to garnet-red in colour; the nose offers embracing notes of petals, which blend harmoniously with the fruitiness of blueberry and blackcurrant and jammy fragrances; it is warm and persistent on the palate, with fruity notes accompanied by good minerality. Coste della Sesia PDO Rosé has a delicate coral colour; the nose is dominated by fruity notes; the palate is characterised by freshness and minerality in the mouth.

The Coste della Sesia PDO may display the following grape variety specifications. From red grape varieties: min. 85% Croatina, Nebbiolo or Spanna, Vespolina, pure or with the addition of similarly-coloured unaromatic grapes originating from other grape varieties suitable for cultivation in the concerned area, max. 15%.
