Description of product typologies
Bianco Capena PDO is bright straw-yellow; intense aromatic notes develop on the nose, with fruity sensations of apple, loquat and pear, closing with hints of minerals and hazelnut; it is sapid and fresh on the palate, with a fruity note in the finish. Superiore can be displayed on the label if the wine is obtained from grapes that ensure a minimum natural alcohol content of 11,5% vol., and has a minimum natural alcohol content of 12% when it is released for consumption. Vinification must take place within the delimited production area, however, taking traditional situations into consideration, these operations may be carried out within the entire territory of the municipalities, even if only in part, including within the grape production area.
